We have the Langley Library display case reserved for the month of March, so be thinking about what you'd like to see in it! Here are some thoughts to get started:
1. Show all the books we've read - maybe a list, or something more graphic. Candace suggested making something that looks like all the books on a shelf, with the spines showing. It could be done by hand, or on the computer. Maybe some stacks of actual books.
2. Have us all list our favorite book (this could take some thinking!)
3. Our scrapbook
4. Photos of us (do you have a favorite?)
5. The Book Woman t-shirt (I still have mine)
6. Something about how it's more than a book club to us - show our Retreats, picnics, dinners out, etc.
7. Some of the items we've made at Retreats
8. Have everyone write a short paragraph about what the club means to you
9. Bookmarks that we've collected from each other over the years
10. A description of how we choose books, set up our schedule, do the research, have the discussion, etc.
11. Have some kind of interactive part
12. Our group's chronology
